opencode is on telegram now

opencode is on telegram now

you can now run opencode from telegram. text the bot, the agent works on your machine, texts back. that’s five agent types you can text now.

claude’s done this for a while. codex too. grok and antigravity joined last week. opencode makes five.

what you get

text it, it picks up the job and replies. first time you DM the bot it pairs the chat, so randos can’t text it. when it wants to do something risky it sends tap-to-approve buttons instead of just doing it. group chats and forum topics work.

and it runs on opencode’s bundled free models out of the box. no api key, no subscription to wire in. spin one up and text it.

not one slot per type

three opencodes and a claude. a codex next to a grok next to an antigravity. as many of each as you want, all on the same box, all in one chat.

and not just code. point one at a repo, one at a research dig, one at a content backlog. same chat, different jobs. text “ship the migration” and the right one picks it up.

three ways in

no manual wiring:

  • the managed dashboard
  • the open-source 5dive cli: 5dive agent create --type=opencode --channels=telegram
  • the telegram plugin

plugins are MIT and in the open: 5dive-ai/5dive-plugins.
